by artful inhowever, while reading through the wts book study information for the week of march 3/2003, i came across a historical claim regarding the wts and its announcing of 1914 as the year of christs' presence in kingly power.
answer (according to the information given in paragraph 14): jehovah has become king since christ's kingly presence began in 1914. the cry that god (via christ) had become king in 1914 has been announced to mankind by the watch tower society since 1919.

sf; all my posts about encounters with jw's. are all TRUE. for 30 years all i heard every day was the jw's this and the wt that. from my jw dad. in fact deep in my mind i thought he was right. till i got separated from my wife. And went to stay at dad's house. well like a good jw he tried with all of my problems are because i never became a jw. well i was out of work , and out of a wife. so the bible did not seem so bad. you know how the jw's present it. it started with easy questions, about some wt 's in 2000 like how emily was so blessed for quiting her job as an exective sect. to become a full pioneer. then i got into how come grandma who lived to 95 years old. died in 1995 did not see armageddon. as i heard my dad tell her for years. at first he shut my mouth fast with a few verses. but he pressed and brought around other jw's i've known for years. for a few months they always backed me into a corner. i had no knowledge. but i did research on 1914, and the pitch i heard 1000 times about the generation of 1914 being the last. well after one trip to the public library and one hour on the internet. dad was in hot water. boy were my eyes opened. i went back to the library almost every day. for months. . dad hated when i came home every day . because what ever wt defense he gave, i would look it up the next day. to make a long story short, dad brought out all the jw heavies from the cong. and one by one i gave them all more than they ever heard of. it was the jw's that taught me how to use their own words to condemn them. so i would lamblast all the jw's in co-op city bx. as they did to me for years. and then tell them get the elders to prove me wrong. at the kh library. so when i see jw's thatr don't know me i stop my truck and plant some seeds. i give them a taste of their own medicine, and they don't like it. but when i keep my head i hope it helps ,some... john

maverick; seethey have a legal way around all these things. that's why i like the call the police while they are at the door . and hit them with the harrassment charge. before it even gets this far. you put them on the denfensive from the start!! but i will give you credit you did a great job. now next time they come to your door to check up on you . dail 911 and put them in the hot seat. and get a report . that they are violating your civil ,human , and rights to freedom of religion. etc. and while you are waiting for the police to come , you could get out some wt's were it talks about freedom of religion etc. to read to them while the surprise is on the way. lol I did this once when the jw's would not stop coming to my wife's door. neither her or i were ever jw's. But i told them many times not to come . well one day i kept them at the door and ,said wait a second the iron is on. and i dailed away. well it was the best 10 minutes i ever had reading the wt and bible. knowing what was coming. . the cops were not so happy having to fill out a report. and the jw's could not run away, till it was all over. the best part was when the sisters told the cops they known me for 20+ years. and for 20+ years you have not stopped harrassing me, now you are harrassing my wife and kids. i told the jw's to give the report to my dad and p.o. jones in the co-op city cong. bx n.y. funny they never rang that bell again. john

I'M STILL PLAYING stupid. but out comes my bible. i say lets reflect on the words of jesus ok, they say that's great. i get them to get out their bibles i say turn to john chapter 6 . lets read together. they are so stupid they go along. they are eating it up, icould have busted them in the first 30 verses, but i made them keep reading. i make a point of all the verses that jesus said he is food from heaven . he that eats the food from heaven will never die , he that does not eat the body and blood of jesus ,has no life. . i mean i'm really highlighting john 6:40-70 with them. they love it.. then i drop the BOMB. SO if i come to the memorial we are all going to follow jesus and partake. well they panicked. and i was the one getting wet in the rain. so i said i guess the jw's don't really follow the bible. as they were walking away, I reread jn 6:66 after the diciples heard jesus words to eat his body and drink his blood , many walked away.... just as you jw's do.

realist; i will give the jw's the thought that the bible and isaiah are inspired etc. i'm not a bible scolar. i look through the wt books like the Isaiah and daneil book. they are studing today. the wt always says that the wt has forfulled some prophecy in Isaiah, dan, or ez. at some wt convention in the 1920's or 30's. the jw will say this is true. at this point I ask them to back it up, from wt books from that time. Now you got the jw in a pickle most likely they wouldn't have ever read a old wt book from the early 1900's . Now i give the jw a chance to prove the wt is telling the truth in 2003 about say the 1922 convention at cedar point ohio. was forfullment of bible prophecy. i offer the jw to have a study on the 1922 wt's . all the while i'm bring out many of the false teaching that the wt is preaching at the time. The jw will call me a lair. then i ask him again have your ever read any if the 22 wt's. he will say NO. I SAY I HAVE READ MANY . so now who's speaking presumptuously. is this what you teach door to door. and you can't even back it up !! does not the bible say prove all thing true. they stand there like zombies. now i ask is this WORSHIP ACCEPTABLE TO JEHOVAH.
